2. Selected Data Protection Methods Used by the Operator
- The login and personal data entry points are protected by transmission layer encryption (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login credentials entered on the site are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read by the destination server.
- Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator, possessing the key, can read it. This ensures protection in case the database is stolen from the server.
- User passwords are stored in a hashed form. The hashing function works one-way, which means it is not reversible, and this is a contemporary standard for storing user passwords.
- An important element of data protection is regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, especially regular updates to software components.

- The Service is hosted (technically maintained) on the operator’s servers: LH.pl Sp. z o.o., address: ul. ks. Jakuba Wujka 7/26, 61-581 Poznań

7. Significant Marketing Techniques
- The operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic through Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The operator does not pass personal data to the service provider, only anonymized information. The service uses cookies stored on the user’s end device. Regarding information on user preferences collected by the Google ad network, users can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
- The operator uses remarketing techniques, allowing advertising messages to be adjusted to the user’s behavior on the site. This may give the illusion that personal data is being used to track the user, but in practice, no personal data is passed from the operator to the advertising providers. A technical condition for such activities is the enabling of cookie support.
- The operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology makes Facebook (Meta Platforms Inc. based in the USA) aware that a registered user has visited the Service. This is based on data for which Facebook is the administrator. The operator does not provide any additional personal data to Facebook. The service uses cookies stored on the user’s end device.
8. Cookie Information

- Cookies are IT data, especially text files, stored on the end user’s device and intended for use with the Service’s websites. Cookies typically contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.
- The entity placing cookies on the end user’s device and accessing them is the Service’s operator.

- For the purposes defined above in the section “Significant marketing techniques”.

- Restricting the use of cookies may affect certain functionalities available on the Service’s websites.
- Cookies placed on the end user’s device may also be used by entities cooperating with the Service operator, in particular, Google (Google Inc. based in the USA), Facebook (Meta Platforms Inc. based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc. based in the USA).
